Story: Andes and the Dancing Stars
The sun had set over the Andes, but the mountain wasn’t sleepy at all.
“Tonight feels sparkly! I think the stars want to dance!” said Andes, shaking his snowy shoulders.
He pulled out his tiny mountain drums and began tapping a beat.
Dum dum DA! Dum dum DA!
High above, the stars began to twinkle in rhythm.
Mount Kilimanjaro peeked over a cloud. “Ooooh! A sky party?”
Andes grinned. “Yes! Come join!”
Soon Kilimanjaro started tapping with his toes, sending little vibrations through the savannah.
Mount Etna spun in with a burst of steam:
“I brought stardust glitter! And I might… just maybe… sing a little.”
(She loved to perform.)
Even Everest smiled from afar, watching quietly as the stars blinked and bounced to the beat.
That night, all the mountains around the world joined in.
From the Rockies to the Alps, they wiggled their peaks, rumbled their bases, and made the sky shine with joy.
In the middle of it all, Andes laughed,
“Who says mountains can’t dance?”
Moral:
Joy is contagious, when you share your rhythm, others find their beat too!
