Story: The Alps and the Frozen Song
It was the first snowfall of winter, and the Alps were ready.
She twirled a snowflake scarf and sang softly into the wind:
“Laaa-la-la-looo, snowflakes fall true…”
But crack! her voice caught! The song froze in the air like an icicle!
“Oh dear!” she gasped. “My song is stuck!”
Matterhorn peeked out shyly. “Maybe it’s too cold for music?”
Goaty started hopping around. “If I dance fast enough, maybe we can warm it up!”
Edelweiss, the tiny alpine flower, stood tall and sang:
“Songs can freeze, but they can also glow…”
The Alps smiled. “That’s it! We’ll melt the frozen song with music from all of us!”
She tapped the snowy slopes. Matterhorn played his horn. Goaty tap-danced. Edelweiss sang from her tiny leaf. And high above, Mount Fuji painted snow clouds into gentle swirls with his breath.
The frozen note sparkled… cracked… and then melted into a magical snowfall of music!
“Laaa-la-la-looo, now we all grew…”
The mountains clapped, and the snow danced with joy.
Moral
