Story: Mount Fuji’s Quiet Day
Mount Fuji loved peaceful mornings.
She watched the cherry blossoms flutter in the wind and painted pictures in the sky with her clouds.
But today…
“Caw! Tweet! SQUAWK!”
Chirp-Chan the bird was having a singing contest—by herself!
“Wheeeeee!”
Tanuki was rolling down her slope in a snowball, giggling loudly.
Fuji sighed softly. “I think I need a little quiet…”
She didn’t want to hurt her friends’ feelings, but her head felt full of too much sound.
Just then, Everest whispered from across the world:
“Peace doesn’t mean being alone. Sometimes, it just means… listening.”
Fuji took a deep breath and sent out a soft breeze.
The cherry blossoms rustled.
The lake below shimmered.
Even Chirp-Chan paused mid-note.
“Ohhhh,” said Tanuki, sitting still. “It’s like… the mountain is breathing.”
They all sat quietly for a moment, just watching petals fall.
Fuji smiled.
“You don’t have to be loud to be heard,” she whispered.
Moral:
Quiet moments can be magical too sometimes peace says more than words.
